Gerben started his career with KPN, where he worked for 17 years, both directly for KPN and for several of their acquired group companies, where he held a variety of executive management roles focused on both B2B and B2C market and product segments. In addition to this, Gerben has also spent time at Telefonica (Deutschland) and Tele2 (The Netherlands), where he was the CEO of Affiliate Companies and Managing Director of the Consumer market, respectively. In his most recent role, Gerben was CEO at Lebara Deutschland, a market leading MVNO based in Düsseldorf.

Secondly, Willem van Ingen, will move from his current position as CEO of Dean One, into a newly created and expanded role as DX Groep Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with responsibility for all financial matters across the DX Groep.

These two appointments will come into effect from 1st August 2020.

Andrew Taylor commented, “As we further develop and significantly grow our business across the region, it is important that we establish strong financial controls and leadership. Gerben has extensive experience across the Telecommunications industry in the Netherlands, France and Germany so I am pleased to welcome him to the DX Groep and to Gamma and I would also like to congratulate Willem on his new appointment.”
